Community Guidelines

The rules for this community are very simple. As long as you are kind to others and act with the best of intentions, you will always be welcome here. Rules that are not quite covered under this umbrella are written below.

General Rules

To participate in this community, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.

  • Respect your Sim Staff / Administration.

  • Have a good time.

Roleplay Rules

To participate in ROLEPLAY, you must:

  • Always adhere to proper roleplay etiquette.

  • Play a character or characters who are at least 18 years old and fit within the Fallout universe.

  • While on Sim you must be appropriately dressed to fit in with the Fallout Universe.  A good rule of thumb is anything with a 1950's kitsch or post-apocalyptic survivors gear.  A simple google search of "Fallout Fashion" can give you some inspiration.

Dress Code

-Dressing within the theme is required

We understand the limitations of SL, but please try to stay within the post-apocalyptic setting of the Fallout universe. If something is deemed too far off theme or immersion-breaking, you will be asked to remove it by an admin.

-No furry, animal, cartoon, or child avatars will be allowed.

Prohibited

  • "Meta-Gaming": When using information outside of what is available in a game is used to give a player an advantage in-game.

  • "Power-Gaming": The act of declaring an action against a player to be successful without giving said player the freedom to perform on their own.

  • "Trolling":  One who posts a deliberately provocative Out-Of-Character message to someone with the intention of causing maximum distruption and argument.

  • "Griefing" is the act of purposefully sabotaging a fellow player in an online game.

Disclaimer

-We are a RED sim, meaning Reasonable Expectations of Death.
All characters are at risk of death and consequences, there will be no special flagging for this. However, when a character dies, so do the stories they create so we ask that both parties agree before a character is killed. This does NOT mean you can use your limits to avoid facing consequences, nor does it not allow players to force death on others.

These rules are subject to change over time. Please be sure to review the rules regularly in the event of additions and changes.
